    The King-Devick Test has been validated for a standardized test size therefore calibration of the display is required before use. You can choose to calibrate your screen with either a ruler or a letter sized (8.5" x 11") sheet of paper. This process is automatically prompted at sign-in on devices that have not been calibrated previously. There are two separate methods by which you can calibrate for the test.

    Calibrating with a Ruler:

  1. When calibrating the test with a ruler hold the ruler up against the image of the ruler on the screen and adjust it to line up the 0 and 5 inch marks on the ruler against the marked 0 and 5 inch positions on the screen.

  3. When calibrating by paper, hold a piece of 8.5"x11" piece of paper against the screen and line the digital paper up against the phyiscal paper.
  4. Calibrating app with a piece of paper
